TO SIEGFRIED GROSSMANN ON HIS 75TH BIRTHDAY

Armed with Wagner's high musical dominance
against creatures of mythical prominence
fought Siegfried the Great,
trying to illuminate
one by one all the secrets of turbulence.

As wild eddies appeared to prevail
and the future looked dangerously pale,
Siegfried stood tall and true
for, as a Grossmann, he knew
that, in the end, it was all a matter of scale!
