On the Number of Limit Cycles of a Class of Polynomial Systems of Liénard Type

Abstract: There are many studies on the limit cycles of Liénard systems. We study a planar polynomial system of Liénard type. By using bifurcation method we obtain some new results on lower bounds of the maximal number of limit cycles for this system, depending on the degrees of the polynomials appeared.
