One gram per liter of sugar, no more, no less

Abstract: This seminar will discuss established, recently updated and putative mechanisms that control the level of blood sugar in a human body. A short basic overview of a relevant part of human physiology will be spiced up with some of the biophysical approaches used in our laboratory and finally extended to form hypotheses about the pathophysiology of both excess blood sugar (diabetes mellitus) and lack of blood sugar (coma).
