Abstract: Neutron stars have already been discussed in my preceding talk, as pulsars and as X-ray emitting accretors. But neutron stars may also be responsible for (i) the acceleration of the Cosmic Rays (via magnetic slingshots), for (ii) the formation of the `exotic? SNRs (or `Pulsar Nebulae?), (iii) the Supersoft X-ray Sources (during assemblance of a massive accrteion disk), (iv) the (extremely bright) super-Eddington sources, (v) the stellar-mass Black-Hole Candidates (as neutron stars surrounded by massive disks), and/or (vi) the Gamma-Ray Bursts (during spasmodic, clumpy accretion). Do (vii) all Supernovae give birth to a neutron star? And (viii) what can we learn from the bizarre morphologies of Pulsar Windzones mapped at X-rays?
