Abstract:
Recently, we have witnessed a strong interest in the stability of
quantum motion against small variations of the Hamiltonian characterized
by fidelity. We will show the behaviour of fidelity decay in different
regimes characterized with several time-scales, and explain how the
fidelity can be computed in terms of time-correlation function of the
generator of perturbation. Interesting application of our ideas for the
enhancement of the stability of quantum computation will be discussed in
the end.
