Description:
Perturbative techniques (Feynman Diagrams) in interacting quantum field
theory are developed for calculations of scattering processes.
Both the tree-level and the systematic approach to loop corrections
(renomalized perturbation) are developed. Primary applications will be to
Quantum Electrodynamics, and possibly to the Standard Model of electroweak
and strong interactions.

The lecture of the 1st Spring School will take place at the
Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Maribor,
Koroska 160, SI-2000 Maribor, Slovenia, in room 0/103.
The lectures will be delivered every day Monday 3 June to
Friday 7 June from 10:00 - 12:00 and 14:00 - 16:00.
In total 20 academic hours. In the second part of the lecture course
discussions in small groups will be possible. The advanced participants
will have the opportunity to present a short seminar on their own
work (15 minutes).
The lecture course is aimed at rather broad audience, in the
first place the graduate students of high energy physics, but
also other interested graduate students of theoretical physics,
postdocs and other interested researchers. The registration
fee amounts 100 EUR per person. All local and travel expenses must be
covered by the participants themselves, and the accommodation
must be organized by themselves as well.
In order to attend each participant should register by sending
an email with all the contact addresses to the coordinator
Prof.Dr. Marko Robnik at: Robnik@uni-mb.si Registration deadline
is Friday 24 May 2013. But we advise all potential participants
to register as soon as possible, as the number of participants
is limited to 40.
